Rhonda Madsen, MSW, LCSW

I am a mental health counselor, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults move through the various challenges, stages, and moments in life. I specialize in treating the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - by interweaving traditional therapy practices with spiritual and energy modalities to emphasize growth and healing on a spiritual level.

I have always enjoyed what I do, I cannot imagine doing anything else. At some point along the way, though, I started to get the sense that there were some things that I just could not get to in a regular counseling session- some things just weren’t moving despite our best efforts. Around this same time, I was led to Reiki, and I received my Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master Certification. Feeling connected in this way to the universal life force energy opened up so much for me on so many levels. It was the beginning of a new stage in my spiritual awakening. It was also the opening of a door to what I had been looking for in my professional life.

I found that this was only the beginning, though. The more that I learn about energy healing and the nature of our universe, the more I realize there is so much yet to learn and grow into. Since that time, I have also become a Certified Advanced ThetaHealer®, studied Pranic Healing, participated in a Shamanic studies program for women, and also became a Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master Practitioner. I hope to never stop learning and growing, and I hope the same for you! My spiritual and professional paths have converged, and I am in the exciting position of being able to incorporate spiritual work and forms of energy healing into counseling sessions to assist people in growth and healing in mind, body and spirit.

I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, light, peace and joy. When you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, we are one. And so I say to you- Namaste.
